Sensitive information: Birth information can be sensitive. We treat it carefully and use it only to provide the core Stellarly experience.

• Usage data (for example: feature usage, screens viewed, interactions, and in-app events).
• Device data (for example: device model, OS version, app version, language settings, and device identifiers).
• IP address (often processed by service providers for security, analytics, and fraud prevention).
• Diagnostics and crash logs (for example: error reports and performance metrics).
• App Store analytics provided by Apple (aggregated insights such as downloads and performance trends).

2) Why we collect and use information

• To provide the Services, including birth chart creation and astrology-based reflections.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve app performance (including troubleshooting and crash prevention).
• To understand usage trends and improve features (analytics).
• To prevent abuse, fraud, and misuse, and to protect users and the Services.

3) AI processing (required disclosure)

We process user-submitted birth information, chat messages, and usage data to provide astrology-based responses.

To generate responses, we may send relevant user inputs (which may include birth information and chat messages) to third-party AI providers, such as OpenAI and/or Anthropic. These providers process the data to produce the response content returned to you in the app.

We only send information that is reasonably necessary to provide the feature. We do not sell your personal information.

4) Who we share information with

We may share information with service providers who help us run the Services, such as:

• AI providers (for response generation): OpenAI and/or Anthropic.
• Analytics providers (including Apple’s App Store analytics and any in-app analytics tooling you enable).
• Crash reporting / diagnostics providers (to identify issues and improve stability).
• Infrastructure providers (hosting, databases, and related services).

These providers are permitted to process information only to perform services for us, and are expected to protect it consistent with their obligations and applicable law.

5) Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the Services, improve reliability, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods vary depending on the type of data:

• Birth and chat information: retained as needed to provide the experience (and saved features, if enabled), unless you request deletion.
• Diagnostics / crash logs: retained for a limited period to debug issues and improve stability.
• Analytics: may be retained in aggregate form to understand performance and trends.

6) Your choices and deletion requests

We may need to verify your request to protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion. We will delete or de-identify data unless we are required to retain it for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.

7) Do we sell your data?

No. We do not sell your personal information.

8) Children’s privacy

Stellarly is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
